Everything You Need to Know Before Your Shift at the Ohio State Fair. Arrival details, passes, parking, and more to help you start smooth and on time.

Before You Get Here...

important arrival information

CARPOOLING

We encourage you to carpool whenever possible. Sharing a ride with coworkers helps with logistics and ensures smoother arrivals and departures. However, Jumbo Iced Tea does not coordinate carpooling—you are responsible for making your own arrangements. You can use the When I Work app to connect with coworkers for ride-sharing.

ARRIVAL TIME

Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled shift. This extra time allows for parking, walking, and entering through the ticketing gate so you can be at your work location on time.

EVENT PASSES

Your event pass will be provided before your shift in one of the following ways:

Must be picked up from the main office box.
Given to you at the arrival gate before your shift.

PARKING

If you are driving and need to park:

Enter any Ohio State Fair parking lot where attendants will direct you to an available spot.
After parking, walk to Gate 1 (Cardinal Gate) to enter the fairgrounds

After You Get Here...

drop off & pickup locations

If you are getting dropped off or picked up, use one of these recommended locations:

GATE 1

Cardinal Gate and main ticketing – 17th Street

Best option for drop-offs with the largest parking area (between the soccer stadium and fairgrounds).

‍Parking is free for 2024.

Ohio Gate – 11th Street

No parking available, but a convenient location for quick drop-offs and pick-ups.

Before being dropped off, notify your Team Lead or higher that you’ve arrived.
Once confirmed, you can proceed to your work location.

Final Reminders...

Arrive at least 15 minutes early to allow time for parking, walking, and getting through the gate.
